After Practice Quick Learning Hour
Regular mermaid swim practice is 2 hours, but plan to stay for an additional hour of mini-workshop or discussion on anything mermaid-related. Whether it’s equipment, breath-hold, or swimming techniques, destinations, underwater modeling, makeup, or fashion, future plans, traveling tips, etc., we’ve got it covered. Feel free to share your questions, suggestions, or concerns with us, and we’ll address them during this hour.
Tutorials
We all want to improve our abilities in all aspects of mermaiding. One of the simplest ways to do so is through self-study using video tutorials available on our Mermaid Swimming Club YouTube channel. You can browse through our continuously expanding library of video tutorials and use them in whichever way you find helpful.
Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel and like the videos to make them available for other mermaid enthusiasts. Click HERE to see the library.
Certifications
The quickest way to become a confident mermaid is by taking a certification class, even though certification is not mandatory to practice mermaiding. It is a crucial component of your rapid development as a serious mermaid. Obtaining certification will help you avoid expensive mistakes in purchasing mermaid equipment and will ensure that your mermaid practice is safe and comfortable. Investing in a certification course is a wise decision for your long-term enjoyment of mermaiding and will remove any frustration or anxiety from your exploration of this hobby.
